THE Heritage Council has announced that €600,000 will be allocated to heritage projects under its 2015 Community-based Heritage Grants Scheme. The grants will aid in the continuing conservation and development of Irish heritage through the support of local community based groups. Grant applications must be submitted on the Heritage Council’s online application system before 5pm on March 20. Details at www.heritagecouncil.ie/grants.
