FIANNA Fail TD for Limerick, Willie O’Dea, revealed that while there will be welcome jobs created during the construction phase of the Horizon Mall development, he shares the concerns of many regarding the potential negative effect it will have on the city centre. “I am also concerned that the development will not be completed by the prescribed timeline of August 2016 and could end up as another ‘white elephant’ just like Coonagh Cross shopping,” Deputy O’Dea told the Limerick Post.
