Blur and Sam Smith for Electric Picnic

23 additional acts have been announced for Electric Picnic 2015 including headlining act Blur. The Britpop superstars released ‘The Magic Whip’ this year. Their first album in 16 years which made #1 on Ireland’s album chart. The band will play hits from their five successive #1 albums.
Four time Grammy award winner Sam Smith, ’70’s Disco queen Grace Jones, 2015’s Queen of Cool, Tahliah Barnett aka FKA Twigs and New York indie gloom merchants Interpol will join an ever more impressive and eclectic lineup.
Also added to the bill: Despacio feat James Murphy and 2manydjs; Mos Def; MK; Soak; and Fat White Family.
Electric Picnic happens at Stradbally Hall, Laois on September 4 – 6.
