FORMER Government Minister and founder of the Progressive Democrats, Des O’Malley is guest speaker for today’s annual luncheon of the Friends of the Hunt Museum (Thursday May 14) in Savoy Hotel. Always a direct and engaging character however ‘disputatious’, his memoir of a life in politics was published last year.
All are welcome to attend, meeting at 12.30pm for a reception followed by a three course meal and raffle. Proceeds will be used for Education and Outreach projects designed by the curator of Education and Outreach at the Hunt Museum, Dr Dominique Bouchard.
