Limerick dog lovers urged to join Chinese Embassy protest

no-to-dog-meat1LIMERICK dog lovers are urged to come out in force this Friday, June 26 for a protest at the Chinese Embassy in Dublin to call for an end to the Yulin ‘dog meat festival’ that started this week. “We’ve had people complaining about the dog meat festival and now we’re giving them a chance to do something about it,” said Limerick founder of the Animal Rights Action Network (ARAN), John Carmody. “We are calling on people to peacefully protest this outrageous festival that cuts the lives of companion animals up for a meat that few in China actually take too.”
