GAA – Limerick lose Minor final after controversial ending

Screen Shot 2015-07-12 at 15.30.03LIMERICK minor hurlers were denied an historic three in a row today as they lost out by three points to Tipperary in the Munster Minor hurling final. The final score of 0-20 to 0-17 does not tell the full story of a clash that ebbed and flowed throughout, before ending in somewhat controversial circumstances. Referee Joe Larkin only played one minute of the two that had been announced for injury-time, blowing the final whistle when Limerick were on the attack.

Limerick now enter the quarter finals of the Minor championship, where they will face Antrim on the weekend of July 25/26
