Council urges caution around water due to high tides

rp_shannonrowc.jpgLimerick City and County Council is urging the public to exercise caution in the vicinity of rivers over the next few days.

Higher than average tides are forecast to occur twice daily on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, resulting in elevated water levels.

Limerick City and County Council says standard operating and response procedures are in place in the event of localised flooding incidents occurring.
