#BREAKING Woman arrested after Limerick body find

A 34-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a man’s body in Castletroy on Friday morning last.

The arrest comes after Gardai discovered the body in the back garden of a house at The Pines, Briarfield, Castletroy at 11am on Friday as Gardai and search times were looking for a Polish man missing since December 30 last.

The body was discovered, wrapped in plastic sheeting and covered by two wooden pallets and bags of turf in the back garden of the house.

Technical forensic examinations have been conducted and the results of a post mortem examination by State Pathologist Professor Marie Cassidy will determine the course of the investigation.

The woman was arrested on Friday evening and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Henry Street Garda Station.
