Limerick search stood down

Early morning commuters were greeted by the sight of a heavy presence of fire and rescue personnel in the Steamboat Quay and Shannon bridge area.  A spokesperson for the Limerick Marine Search and rescue said that the services had answered a “call of good intent” after a person spotted something in the water but were stood down a short time later
