THOUGHTS turn to long summer days filled with great music with the announcement of the 2016 Indiependence Music & Arts Festival. The festival returns to Mitchelstown, Cork, this summer following its record breaking attendances in 2015. A strong lineup of new and familiar names are coming to Deer Farm from Friday July 29 – Sunday July 31.
UK indie legends Editors, The Kooks and Idlewild lead the way. The festival will host Bell X1, Ash and The Strypes.
INDIE favourites over the years Hudson Taylor, and The Blizzards, back on the road again, make welcome returns.
There are many exciting prospects among the new and upcoming acts, Pleasure Beach, Brian Deady, CC Brez, Saint Sister, Coasts, Little Hours and King Kong Company.
Festival goers will see a return of the Beer Hall Stage, Comedy & Spoken Word, the Silent Disco, Festi-Huts and a wide variety of food options over the course of the weekend.
