The game, which is a repeat of this season’s All Ireland league semi final, which Cork Con won, is sure to be a tight affair, judging by the nature of the three fixtures between the two sides this season.
Munsters’ are looking to collect the famous cup for the eight time, having last won in 2010. Cork Con, on the other hand, are chasing their 39th crown, while also seeking a four in a row in the competition.
The game this weekend marks the final game in charge of Young Munster for head coach David Corkery. The former Cork Con man will be moving on this summer with former UL Bohemians’ head coach Gearoid Prendergast.
