#video The Flag Listeners – ‘Birds Fly’

flags imageLIMERICK band, The Flag Listeners have released their debut single ‘Birds Fly’ and a video for the song, shot by local filmmaker, Shane Serrano (Foxjaw). The song references Poor Man’s Kilkee and part of the video was shot there.

The Flag Listeners are Eamonn Hehir on vocals and guitar, Sean Fox on Bass, Tony Brennan on drums. The trio shared the stage as Toucandance in the 80s/90s. Guitarist John Steele completes the quartet who have been busy writing and showcasing new material once a month at The Kasbah Club in Dolan’s.

The new single is ‘Birds Fly’, written by Eamonn Hehir and ‘Well Played, Mr. Lemmon’, written by John Steele. Both songs will be well known to Flag Listeners fans. They are among a number of songs recorded by Antimo Puca Kelly in AP Studios, Dublin, last Summer.
