A RUN against cancer will take place in Ballylanders this month in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.

The run takes place on May 24 with over half the spots for the 10km run already sold out.

Organised with the support of local social running group Rua Running, it’s hoped to build a strong community atmosphere around the day.

Participants can choose between a 5km walk — ideal for families, or 5km and 10km chipped and timed races, with entry priced at just €10.

Each finisher will receive a commemorative medal. The event is proudly supported by sponsors Peak 100 Coffee and Arachas Insurance.

Entries available via Eventbrite.ie, the official event website, or through Rua Running on Instagram.
