The Darkest Midnight dawns for music and song

THIS Thursday 24 in the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, UL at 8pm, an evening of song, poetry and carols will benefit Rape Crisis Mid-West.

‘The Darkest Midnight’ takes place in a winter wonderland setting and “this fantastic musical experience is guaranteed to get everyone in the festive spirit with a series of incredible performances and a mulled wine reception”.

Students from the MA Festive Arts programme help in this production. The Darkest Hour features Cantoral Chant Ensemble, the BAVAD Gospel Choir directed by Kathleen Turner, the Irish World Academy Choir and others.

Enjoy Sean Nós dancer Siobhan Butler, MA students Irish Traditional Dance Performance, Emily Flack (Canada), Kara O’Brien (USA) and Eibhlín Broderick (Ireland) join in performing.
