GAVIN Hogg, painter, returns with ‘Small Art Works 11’ exhibition in The Mews at No. 14 Schoolhouse Lane. He is one of seven artists in this Georgian coach house that retains original features.
“This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in history and contemporary culture, which itself continues the strong tradition of the visual arts in Limerick,” he suggests.
The other artists showing are Sheila Richardson, Nuala O’Sullivan, Carl Doran, Isabella Walsh, Julie Brazil and PJ O’Connell.
This exhibition will be launched at 7.30pm on Thursday December 1 by Úna McCarthy, director/ curator of LCGA. ‘Small Art Works 11’ is open to the public from Friday December 2 until Sunday 4 only, 12noon-6pm.
