CECILIAN Musical Society is rocking out with ‘Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ and its cast of 50, chorus of 30 at Lime Tree Theatre into Saturday December 2.

“Based on the biblical story of Joseph from the Book of Genesis, we follow the colourful and comical journey of young dreamer Joseph, as his gift of prophecy saves him from an uncertain fate,” this youthful 98 year-old society tells us. “Classic songs include ‘Any Dream Will Do’, the Caribbean themed ‘Benjamin Calypso’, the alluring ‘Jacob and Sons/ Joseph’s Coat’, the rock n’ roll sensation ‘Song of the King (Seven Fat Cows)’ and the memorable ‘Go, Go, Go Joseph’.

The charismatic Brian Finn leads as Joseph, supported by seasoned campaigners Hilary Phayer/ Narrator, Jason Ronan/, Brian Henry as Simeon, James Malone/ Asher, Aidan O’Connell/ Reuben and Red Rock’s Brian Roche as Judah.
