Nightflyers land in Limerick with 400 jobs

A PROJECT which is estimated to be worth €70 million to the Limerick economy and has already created 400 jobs was officially launched this week.

Troy studios in the former Dell plant in Limerick is the location for the filming of Netflix sci-fi series, Nightflyers. The production is based on a novella from the pen of Game of Thrones author, George RR Martin. Present for the official launch were cast members, Eoin Macken and Maya Eshet.

Limerick Mayor, Stephen Keary was on hand for the launch and said: “Hollywood has come to Limerick and we hope it will stay for a very long time. This is a project which will benefit Limerick and the whole of the region.”
