Egg-cellent fun at Bunratty Castle and King Johns castle this Easter!

Shannon Heritage are delighted to announce an all-new eggs-travaganza at Bunratty Castle & Folk Park and King John’s Castle this Easter weekend.

 
There is a whole new schedule of events occurring for Easter 2018, taking place Sunday April 1st at King John’s Castle and bank holiday Monday April 2nd at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, from 12pm to 5pm both days.
 
Headlining both days will be the Wobbly Circus and Mr. Boom’s drum and percussion show. The Wobbly Circus is a high-energy street circus show for all the family that combines slapstick comedy and clowning with a high level of circus skills. Mr. Boom is renowned for his interactive and fun adventures where LOUD is more than allowed, it’s encouraged!  Konor the Klown is back entertaining everyone with his highly popular show including magic, puppets.
 
Other highlights each day include a 52 foot crocodile obstacle course, air juggler shooting alley, amazing stilt walkers and the chance to meet your favourite fairy tale characters! There will also be face painting, giant games, garden games and balloon modelling all designed to keep the little ones occupied.
 
In addition, train rides will be available at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park where visitors can also enjoy meeting the many Folk Park animals, including our newest arrivals Saoirse and Meabh our two Irish Wolfhounds, who have become a national favourite thanks to their appearance on the Ray D’Arcy Show on RTE TV.
 
Each day is absolutely CHOC-full of activities, and topping it all off will be an Easter parade and an Easter bonnet / fancy dress competition. A full schedule of activities is available online or upon arrival.
