Limerick school surprised with wild card for Junk Kouture finals

Bank of Ireland surprised five schools with Wild Cards for the grand finale of Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture 2018 yesterday.

Now in its eighth year, Ireland’s leading fashion and art competition for secondary school’s challenges students encourages young designers to create striking couture designs and impressive works of wearable art from everyday junk that would normally find its way into the bin.

Social media sensation and Bank of Ireland Youth Ambassador James Patrice presented Colaiste Nano Nagle in Limerick with a precious Wild Card today, which secures them a place at the Bank of Ireland Junk Kouture 2018 grand finale on 19th April 2018 in the 3Arena in Dublin. Wearing Stand Up and Fight, a tribute to Munster Rugby and the late Anthony Foley, which they created from cans, plastic bottles and match programmes.
