DGD Shredding & Technology welcomed a very special visitor to their Limerick head office and facility today, Katelyn Cummins, the 2025 International Rose of Tralee and the first-ever Laois Rose to take the title. The visit was made all the more special by Katelyn’s close family connection to DGD, as her aunt, Eilish Carter, is a valued member of the team here.
The 21-year-old, from the village of Ballyouskill on the Laois-Kilkenny border, is an apprentice electrician currently in her third phase of training, with plans to pursue an engineering degree. Passionate about representing women in the trades, she has said she hopes to inspire girls to follow their own path.
The entire DGD team were thrilled to open their doors to such an inspiring young woman. Fresh from her stunning victory on Dancing with the Stars Ireland 2026, Katelyn has proven herself a true talent both on screen and off, and her visit today was a fantastic occasion for everyone at DGD Shredding & Technology.
