Tom’s journey addressed in free Limerick talk

ONE of Ireland’s leading entrepreneurs and public speakers will present a free talk in Limerick this week on his journey with mental health charity, GROW.

Tom Murphy, co-founder and Director of Boards.ie and a past winner of the Irish Internet Association’s (IIA) Net Visionary Award, will deliver an talk entitled ‘Hope’ on this Thursday, April 5 at The Clayton Hotel on Steamboat Quay from 8 to 9.30pm.

Admission to the event is free with donations going towards the mental health charity, GROW, which has its registered offices in Henry Street in Limerick.

GROW’s mission is to promote positive mental health and recovery.

This talk is aimed at anyone with an interest in the concept of hope in relation to wellbeing, particularly mental health.

Chief Executive of Boards.ie, Tom Murphy is a much sought-after public speaker.

Using humour and observational comedy, he has given talks on mental health and speaks openly of his own struggle with depression.

A successful businessman and entrepreneur, he is the founder of Boards.ie and Adverts.ie. He is also a mentor with Enterprise Ireland. Tom won the IIA Net Visionary award for social contribution.
