County Limerick woman to appear on Winning Streak

A Co. Limerick woman who recently marked her first wedding anniversary has cause for more celebration as she will be among the five participants appearing on the National Lottery Winning Streak game show on RTE One this Saturday (28th April).

Lesley-Ann Danaher, (29), who lives with her husband Mike in Croagh, has worked as a quality control technician in Technopass in Ballina in Co. Tipperary for over a year and a half.

Originally from Old Mill, near Newcastle West, Co. Limerick, she was walking with a friend in Ballybunion on Saturday evening when she got a call from her aunt to let her know the good news. Her phone didn’t stop hopping after with calls from friends and family wishing her the best of luck.

Her parents, Tom and Mary, and two sisters, Ide and Vanessa from Old Mill will be in the RTE studios to support her on Saturday. Also in the audience will be a number of friends from Old Mill and from her college days in NUI Galway.

Lesley-Ann graduated with a degree in Biomedical Science in 2011 and went back to NUIG to do a Master’s in Toxicology. With any winnings from the show, Lesley-Ann is planning home improvements on her new home.

The next episode of Winning Streak, will be broadcast next Saturday evening (28th April) at 8:35pm on RTÉ One, where presenters Marty Whelan and Sinead Kennedy will guide five players through the iconic show, which gives them the chance to win cash, cars and luxury holidays. One will get the once-in-a-lifetime chance to spin the Grand Prize Wheel with a maximum prize of €500,000.
