Two men airlifted to Cork University Hospital following house fire.

GARDAÍ attended a domestic fire shortly before 6pm in Meelick, Co Clare, close to the Limerick border on the evening of Friday, June 15.

Father and son, Joe and Seamus Quinn, aged in their 80s and 40s respectively, were airlifted to Cork University Hospital from their home on the evening.

Both men suffered serious burns, with the older of the two, Joe, aged 89, understood to be in a critical condition after being airlifted.
