Crash witness appeal


GARDAI are appealing for witnesses in relation to an incident in the Father Russell Road area that occurred on Monday, September 10 around 6:30pm.

Gardaí were called to an incident after reports of a traffic collision and an ongoing public order incident involving a group of people in Cluain Dubh, Father Russell Road. Both cars believed to be involved in the collision were seized for technical examination. No arrests were made.

Speaking at Roxboro Road Garda Station, Inspector Oliver Kennedy said ‘We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything in or around Cluain Dubh, the Father Russell Road or St Nessans Road, to contact us, with any information they may have. I would also appeal to anyone who might have been driving around the area between 6pm and 7pm on the 10th September and who may have dash cam footage, to contact us in Roxboro Road Garda Station on 061-214340, The Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station’
