A treat at Lime Tree Theatre for Country Music fans

Jimmy Buckley

Jimmy Buckley is one of our best loved performers. The man from Doon has enjoyed many years at the top of his profession and received numerous awards including the prestigious Entertainer of the Year in the RTE Music Awards.
Jimmy possesses a very rare talent, not only as a phenomenal singer but also as a fine mimic of other major stars. Jimmy’s show is little bit country, big ballads and tribute medleys to the greats of country music, Hank Williams and Charlie Pride.

Along with his top class band, Jimmy will be joined by country legend Louise Morrissey.

Special guest is Claudia Buckley who sings on Jimmy’s new single ‘If Anything Happened To You.”

Claudia is of course Jimmy’s daughter, now based in Galway and due to be featured in RTE’s Nationwide in early November, recording and performing onstage.
“She is a really talented singer, she is getting a lot of notice, making quite a career for herself” Jimmy told Limerick Post this week.
This weekend, all eyes in the Buckley household will be on Doon in the Hurling County Final at The Gaelic Grounds.
“Its been a huge year for Limerick and a huge year for Doon seeing as we have four players on the county panel. There is great comradery and resolve in the people in Doon, they will give it everything they have!”

Jimmy Buckley and guests perform at Lime Tree Theatre on Saturday November 3. Doors at 8pm.
