Meitheal na Mac Léinn (MnM), translated directly as “student working group”, is an initiative of UL Student Life where UL students patrol the areas in the vicinity of University of Limerick campus during Charity Week and Fresher’s Week.

Over 30 students carry out patrols to help reduce antisocial behaviour, to ensure the safety of UL students and to help strengthen community relations with residents around UL. Over 2000 flyers are distributed throughout the off campus housing estates reminding students to respect those living around them and detailing the consequences of antisocial behaviour.
