A 21-YEAR-OLD County Limerick man has qualified as a finalist in the European Isabody Challenge in London later this month.

Donnacadha Lynch from Kilcornan says his life was transformed by a global health and wellness system providing nutrition and lifestyle solutions.

His neighbours Donie and Juanita Griffin, who are working to grow Isagenix throughout Ireland, which offers solutions in weight wellness, stress management, improved sleep, cravings, digestion, energy and performance, have helped him make positive changes in his life.

“From a young age, I was always a bigger kid and the weight just kept increasing. It was definitely a slippery slope. The turning point for me was in December 2017 when I had a motorbike accident. I was in a neck brace in A&E and the doctors needed to roll me on my side to check my spine and pinpoint where the pain was coming from. When you are 18 stone it’s not the easiest task to roll someone on their side. I was a bit embarrassed to say the least,” Donnacadha told the Limerick Post.

Moving forward a couple of weeks, Donnacadha’s car was giving trouble so he visited local mechanic Donie Griffin who told him about Isagenix, after he lost three stone on the programme.

“I was sceptical at first but said I would give it a go after attending an information session with Donie and Juanita. I started to see results quickly and noticed my sleep was improved and my snoring had stopped. Fast forward 16 weeks and I had gone from 18 stone down to 11 stone.

“My transformation pictures are impressive but I can’t put into words how the system makes you feel and how much energy you have. It makes weight loss seem like a side effect. My current weight is 12 stone a year later, due to more training in the gym, and I am full of confidence and energy,” he said.

Donnacadha, an apprentice electrician, has now qualified as a finalist in the European Isabody Challenge in London this month, which could see him win a €5000 cash prize and a trip to the USA where he could pick up a further $50,000 in the global finals.

“I love tattoos and always wanted a chest piece. I would never have taken my top off in public but now I was able to tattoo my chest at the Limerick Tattoo Convention in front of 1,000 people. Isagenix has completely changed my life,” he concludes.

Donie and Juanita Griffin will hold an information evening on Isagenix at the Strand Hotel in Limerick at 7pm on Tuesday March 12.
