O’Neill secures Fianna Fáil nomination in Limerick City North

-

CAHERDAVIN-based community activist Pat O’Neill has this week secured a nomination from Fianna Fáil party headquarters to run as a local elections candidate in Limerick City North this May.

Pat from Clonmacken, works as a planner within the Engineering Department of Analog Devices in Raheen. Also a member of Na Piarsaigh GAA, he expressed his delight to the Limerick Post on his nomination.

“I’m absolutely delighted. It’s a great honour for both my family and I to have been chosen to stand for election,” he said.

“I have worked hard over the past few years and continue to do so on a daily basis to put myself in this position. I love my city but I’m deeply passionate about the Northside. I want to be of service and make a difference in people’s lives.

“I look forward to meeting many more people in the coming weeks and hopefully they will give me their backing to represent them on the local council. The Northside is on a curve of change and along with my party colleagues we’re going to play our part in making it one of the best places to live,” he concluded.
