Munster head coach Johann van Graan provided an update today on the injuries suffered by Jack O’Donoghue and Joey Carbery during their Champions Cup quarter final win over Edinburgh.

Both players left the game injured in the first half of Munster’s 17-13 victory in the Scottish capital.

“Jack will go through his return to play protocols. Still very early on Joey, but as as soon as we have an update I’ll give some more information.

“Obviously, it’s his hamstring. I’m not going to put a time frame on it at this stage.

“Incredible game of rugby. Both sides gave it their all. The collisions that went into the game were pretty big and we will have to recover pretty soon for Friday night.”
