Scoring De Craic Factor

Cast members, left, Michael Collins with Sean O’Dwyer.

HOW many community drama groups can boast 12 original productions in eight years?

Look to the city-based St Saviour’s Drama Group who return to the professional venue Belltable this Thursday 11 and Friday 12, led by director Karen Fitzgibbon.

Shows at 8pm. She tells Arts Page that the latest play is ‘De Craic Factor’ which features “a number of bands as they compete for the lucrative prize of a recording contract with Phony Executives. From all woman bands to ageing rock stars, it’s never too late to chase your dreams!

“This is a bold and brave move for St. Saviour’s, writing a brand new storyline, yet again.  The challenge never seems to faze the group.”

Look forward to a fun night driven by music and passion with this 17-strong troupe funded by LCETB. Book on venue manager www.limetreetheatre.ie
