MET Éireann have issued a status yellow weather warning for Limerick as temperatures soar to 27 degrees.
The warning is also in place for Clare, Kerry, Cork, Galway and Mayo.
It comes into force from 1pm on Thursday until the evening time.
Temperatures today are set to reach 25 degrees in places with the West of Ireland being the hottest.
