A NEW exhibition of works by members of the Mid West branch of the Irish Patchwork Society is open at the County Library on the Dooradoyle Road in Limerick City.

The exhibition kicked off this past Thursday (April 16), officially opened by Mayor John Moran, and will continue at the County Library for three weeks until May 7.

Entitled ‘Hare’s Corner’, the exhibition was inspired by the book of the same name, which inspires landowners to leave a part of their land uncultivated to encourage wildlife to flourish.

The exhibition contains works by local Irish Patchwork Society members, who meet in the Ballybrown Community Centre.
