ELECTRIC picnic happens from August 30 to September 1. As the final line ups are being announced, lots of Limerick acts are in the mix for the Stradbally festival this year.
The ephemeral world of wonder that is the Body & Soul arena gives this festival a unique and atmospheric oasis where new music and party alchemists mix with the gong-bathers and hoola hoop technicians in the healing areas.

Representing the parish here is electronic act Proper Micro NV, rising pop stars whenyoung and garage rock five-piece Fonda.
Headlining in the Body & Soul arena are JMSN, electronica duo Lamb, Waterford’s finest King Kong Company, dance music from EMBRZ, Irish electronica act Arvo Party and hip hop hellraisers Mango x Mathman and T.P.M.
Today FM’s wonderful disco queen DJ Kelly-Anne Byrne will close out the B&S main stage on Saturday night.
The Hazel Wood area is now in its fourth year and is the ideal refuge to experience an eclectic mix of theatre, storytelling, spoken word and music. The Gaiety School of Acting, Callback Theatre and Dowtcha Puppets will provide these immersive theatre experiences.
The Salty Dog stage is a festival within the festival and hosts Otherkin, Cathy Davey, Pillow Queens and Jinx Lennon.
In the main arena, Johnny Marr, J Hus, Charli XCX, Richard Ashcroft, All Tvvins, Biig Piig, Brittany Howard, Cassia, David Keenan, Declan J Donovan and DJ Seinfeld have been added, along with Limerick band PowPig.
