The National will play Limerick for Live at the Docklands 2020

LIVE at the Docklands, the largest capacity venue that Dolan’s have brought to the city to date will host The National in June 2020.

The event will again be hosted on the waterfront off Dock Road in a large festival specific marquee.

Booking The National in a huge coup for Dolan’s and Limerick City. The Matt Berninger led band are critically acclaimed have established themselves as mainstays of arenas and festivals with sold-out performances and headlining slots around the world.
Tracks ‘Mistaken For Strangers’ and ‘Fake Empire’ from 2007’s Boxer LP are indie/alternative anthems.

With Dolans preparing to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their opening in Limerick, expect more acts to be announced shortly.

Speaking at today’s announcement promoter Neil Dolan said: “Fresh from headlining the All Together Now Festival we are delighted to announce a significant stadium headline act for Limerick’s Live at the Docklands series 2020.
“Securing The National for Limerick is a major coup for us and we are looking forward to playing host to what is truly a phenomenal live act”.

Their most recent album, ‘I Am Easy To Find’ featured female vocalists including Lisa Hannigan and went Top 10. Their previous LP, the Grammy® Award-winning Sleep Well Beast scored Number One in Ireland, UK, Portugal and Canada.

Tickets for The National go on sale this Friday at 9am and can be purchased via www.dolans.ie.
The National will play Live at the Docklands in Limerick on Sunday, June 7.
