A lively January night of music – The Three Amigos

January 16, 8pm at UCH.

PROMISE yourself a lift after the Christmas and New Year festival has receded into cold, dry January. Bringing you country music, good attitood and fine looking men, The Three Amigos wake up University Concert Hall on Thursday January 16.

They have a new tour organised for the first couple of months of 2020 and have a strong new single onside, ‘Still Not Dead’. Dead? No fear of these boys and their rousing ability to stir audiences in live shows. That they have a wonderful time gigging together gives  an infectiously good-humoured edge to their shows.

From Claire Howard, marketing manager at UCH, we hear that “Jimmy Buckley, Robert Mizzell and Patrick Feeney have played a major part in the transformation of country music in Ireland. All three enjoy hugely successful solo careers and when they come together for this unique performance, the chemistry and the magic generated on stage is truly very special.”

With the Three Amigos contracted to J+C Promotions, J+C tells us that “their show continues to enthral audiences with a perfect mix of music, song and comedy. Indeed, their comedy sketch has become an integral part of their live shows.

“The mix of country hits from both sides of the Atlantic and some great rock ’n’ roll standards makes The Three Amigos’ repertoire very special.
