IT’S ten years since that infamous event that was captured on RTÉ News.
During a live report in Dublin a man was caught slipping on the icy footpath and it went viral.
To commemorate one of the most memorable incidents on our TV screens this decade, Coors Light have erected a plaque at the site of the infamous slip.
Conor McIntyre, Senior Brand Manager, Coors Light said: “There are a few key moments on Irish television that are memorable enough to talk about again and again.
“We felt this deserved a resurgence. We’ve recently completed The Rockies Awards, rewarding victories in life, big and small and we thought this lad definitely deserved some recognition for making it on to RTÉ News, ten years ago today!”
The identity of the slipping man is still unknown a decade later.
