LIMERICK promoters Take It or Leave It (namely Dylan Flynn and Sam Phillips) bring another instalment of their monthly independent music night to The Record Room this weekend.
Headlining is Tandem Felix. The Dublin six piece band picked up reams of good press and acclaim for the recent album ‘Rom-Com’.
Expect to hear, “country tinged lilting Americana in gorgeous washes of gently psychedelic keys and sun-splashed American West Coast melodies.”
The band has just been announced for the All Together Festival in August.
Tandem Felix opened for Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks in Dublin’s Vicar Street, joined Saint Sister on their Irish tour.
The 2017 single ’Were You There (When They Crucified The Birthday Boy)?’ was nominated for the Choice Music Prize Song of the Year.
Limerick’s Hey Rusty will bring their full band show as guests which will be a good match up for the lo-fi country sounds of the headliner.
