Cheltenham Festival is just around the corner with the four day festival beginning in England next Tuesday.

The world renowned festival will see the best from Ireland travel overseas.

Ahead of the festival, Limerick’s JP McManus spoke about one of his most famous horses, Istabraq, who won the Champion Hurdle on three occasions for the owner.

“I had two horses of note. A bulldozer of a horse called Finnegans Hollow and Istabraq, whom I thought was just another horse but it turns out Istabraq was a very special horse.”

“He was just a born champion”
