LOCAL trainer Enda Bolger was in the winnersโ enclosure at Limerick following the impressive victory of Tippin And Tappin (11/2) in the โฌ10,000 Treaty Plant Hire Handicap Chase on a sun-drenched evening at Greenmount Park, Patrickswell.
He was guided home by Darragh OโKeeffe, who followed up for quick double on the JP McManus, Martinstown, owned Priory Park (10/3) for trainer Edward OโGrady in the finale.
Winning trainer Bolger, Bruree, told irishracing.com: โWe bought him for a four-year-old point-to-point horse but he has just taken a lot of time. He got his head in front in a point the last day when he got a great ride from Luke Kelleher, who gave him his confidence.”
โI must say Darragh gave him a great ride and we’ll tip away now for the summer.
โAubrey McMahon bought him for the (Storytellers) syndicate and his dad Luke is involved as well so they’re delighted.โ
The jovivial bunch are based in Kildare with Paul Carty as secretary.
Limerick race again next Thursday, 5pm.
