PROMOTERS for Electric Picnic Festival have announced some of the acts to feature this year in Stradbally.
News broke recently that Rage Against The Machine are bringing their reunion tour to the festival which raised anticipation for what else might be on the bill.
Just announced is Chemical Brothers, Snow Patrol, Picture This and Lewis Capaldi as headliners.
Bicep (Live), Ian Brown, Run the Jewels, Foals, Annie Mac, Mabel, Rejjie Snow, Lyra, Joy Crookes and Black Country, New Road are exciting inclusions in the lineup.
And the surprise of the bunch is Rick Astley, who is guaranteed to fill the main arena for a sing-a-long to ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’.
Electric Picnic happens on September 4-6.
For those of you who love that bit of extra luxury and comfort in your festival experience, the festival has announced the Premium Campsite….
The premium campsite will offer hot showers, flush toilets and close access to your car. Located on the Abbeyleix Road, picnickers will be able to access the festival site via a bridge which will take them directly to the middle of the action!
Tickets for the premium campsite will go on sale on April 10.
