LOCAL family business Jack Fitzgerald Electrical thought they had seen it all over the last nearly 50 years serving the people of Limerick, including surviving a few recessions and even having their premises flooded and burnt down on different occasions, even after these setbacks Jack Fitzgerald Electrical continued to serve their loyal customers with their renowned customer service, delivering and installing your kitchen appliances.

They never envisaged it would take a global pandemic to close their doors last April in an attempt to slow the spread of Covid-19, they willingly played their part to help flatten the curve and as a result of everyone’s immense efforts, thankfully the spread of the virus within the community has considerably slowed.

As part of the phased re-opening of the country, on May 18th part of Phase 1 Jack Fitzgerald Electrical reopened their doors to the public (albeit with some changes to the normal we were used to a couple of months ago, as we continue to adjust to the ‘New Normal) with the support of their very loyal customers they continue to offer their unrivalled customer service to both their existing customers (often many generations of the same family) and to new customers with the same enthusiasm.

Jack Fitzgerald Electrical are committed to providing their customers the Safest Shopping Experience Possible, they have installed handwashing facilities as you enter and leave their shop in Lower Shannon Street, Howley’s Quay, building a ‘Sanitation Station’ including a handwash basin, automatic tap, liquid soap, warm water,  paper towels and hand sanitiser (All touch-free for safest possible experience)

They are also implementing strict protocols instore to help protect their customers, their staff & each other. Some of these include, following One-Way System around the store, limiting the number of customers in the store at any one point and practicing social distancing (2 Metres).

They have also installed protective screens at all their tills, and encourage contactless payment where possible. All of this is in addition to their staff continuously practicing the highest of hygiene standards as advised by the public health experts.
