Barnardos was delighted to be nominated as a chosen charity in 2020 and all funds raised will go directly to the charity’s Early Years and Family Support Services in Limerick.

Aoife Brown,Barnardos Project Leader Limericksaid: “It’s fantastic to be nominated as a chosen charity for the Virtual 2020 Cook Medical Limerick Mini Marathon. The event always created a really wonderful atmosphere in the city over the years.

While it’s a pity it’s had to go virtual because of Covid19, we have no doubt that the sense of fun and community will remain in 2020. The funds raised on behalf of Barnardos will go a long way towards supporting the vulnerable children and families we work with, many of whom have endured far too much during the pandemic.
