Limerick & District Credit Union offer support for students

-

WITH the prospect of third level education looming for thousands of Limerick students, many of them are focusing on the costs involved in making the transition.

Limerick & District Credit Union is offering a range of affordable loans to take some of the uncertainty from what has been an exceptionally challenging time for the Leaving Certificate class of 2020.

Chief executive Caroline Long says that as restrictions are slowly being lifted and students plan for their future, it is now more important than ever to let members know that  the credit union is there to support them.

“As you start adding up the costs involved in going to third level education, be that for fees, accommodation or both, it’s important to know that your local credit union is here for you. We offer fair and affordable loans and are always happy to work with each member individually to structure loan repayments in a way that works best for your needs.

“In the recent RepTrak 2020 study, credit unions took the top spot for their levels of trust, respect, admiration, and esteem. We know our members trust us and we need them to know that we will support them in a time of need”, Ms Long added.
