Getting corporate customers to go green for Christmas

Brian O'Callaghan of EcoStraws.ie

A COUNTY Limerick company is already actively targeting the corporate Christmas market with a unique seasonal offering.
Last month, Hospital-based EcoStraws.ie launched the corporate arm of the business, EcoBrands Corporate, offering the most  environmentally responsible and ethically sourced range of promotional merchandise in the country.

Company founder Brian O’Callaghan says it was a natural progression for the business.
“Over the past few years, we have worked with corporates from local coffee shops to large multinationals such as Google and Facebook, so it made sense to formalise our corporate offering to compliment our household, retail and trade offerings.

Our ‘Green and Good’ range is all produced from recycled, biodegradable, sustainable, organic or Fairtrade materials. We have seen a natural shift towards these eco-friendly products, and by working with us, employers can reward their teams with top quality products while promoting their eco-credentials in the process.

We are especially proud of our low MOQ’s, our tailor made solutions and our attractive price point. We have launched with over 150 products, and will launch a full range and website after Christmas. Earlier this summer, EcoStraws made headlines as they launched the world’s first plastic-free PPE visors. The Guaranteed Irish and Business All-Star accredited business also offers the largest range of alternatives to single use plastic straws in the world, as well as a range of coffee cups and water bottles.
