Treaty United Draw Munster Rivals in FAI Cup

TREATY United received a tough away draw against Munster rivals Cork City in the semi-final of the Women’s FAI Cup. The draw was made live on 2FM this evening which sees Wexford Youths and Peamount contest the other semi-final tie.

Treaty United announced the draw on the club’s official Twitter page directly after the announcement on 2FM.

The semi-final ties will take place on the week ending November 8th with specific dates to be confirmed. Treaty will travel to Turners Cross expecting a very tough encounter. The sides met at the Markets Field a month ago with Cork City running out 2-5 winners. The clash had been postponed on two occasions due to Covid-19 and weather related issues.

Dave Rooney’s side reached the semi-final stage following last weekend’s 2-0 home victory over DLR Waves at Jackman Park. Gillian Keenan and Aoife Horgan produced the goals.
