Munster issue positive injury update ahead of Sunday’s Ospreys clash

AS Munster prepare for Ospreys in the Guinness Pro 14 this weekend there is positive news on the injury front for Darren Sweetnam, Rhys Marshall and Dan Goggin.

Sweetnam (knee) and Marshall (thigh) returned to training today with Goggin (shoulder) expected to return to training later in the week.

There are still a high number of players out for the clash.

Unavailable: Chris Cloete (neck), Roman Salanoa (thigh), Jeremy Loughman (shoulder), Liam O’Connor (calf), Niall Scannell (neck), Neil Cronin (knee), Dave Kilcoyne (ankle), RG Snyman (knee), Joey Carbery (ankle).

Munster will come into the game having had a week off due to the postponed Benetton fixture last Sunday.

Munster welcome Ospreys to Thomond Park this Sunday at 2.45 in the Guinness Pro 14 with the game live on eir Sport & TG4.
