Castle Oaks House Hotel still serving Castleconnell during Covid restrictions

-

THE Castle Oaks House Hotel is open and still serving the local village of Castleconnell during the latest level 5 Covid restrictions.

As with many businesses, they have adapted their offering to suit the current guidelines. This includes ‘Castle Oaks at Home’ a free delivery service that brings wholesome, locally sourced and delicious food right to its local customers.
There is a full menu available, right down to the Sunday roast.
The team at The Castle Oaks have also set up a Farmers Market on weekends at the gate of the hotel offering a variety of homemade bread, scones and cakes and bakes as well as jams, sauces and hot drinks.
Although it’s a tough time for the business, general manager Barry Kennedy says it is an important time for the hotel.
“We need to take this opportunity to be creative and find ways continue to serve the local community,” he explained.
“The hotel will fully reopen in line with government guidelines when the time comes, but before then if you are missing the Castle Oaks, why not take a stroll along the River Shannon and stop by after for a coffee and a scone from the Farmers Market. You can order food for the family and enjoy a delicious homecooked meal without the hassle of washing up”.
For more information on the full range of services, contact the hotel on 061 377666 or go to www.castleoaks.ie
