New album from Shane O’Neill, ‘No More Clones’ out now

NO MORE CLONES is the new album from Limerick born songwriter Shane O’Neill. The record was produced by Bill Shanley (Cauldron Music), Dublin based session guitarist and producer who has worked with Ray Davis, Hozier, The Cranberries and Paul Brady.

Shane made music from the age of 12 when his father bought him his first guitar. He remembers growing up in a house filled with music, regularly falling asleep to the sound of his father playing guitar and his mother singing, “close harmonies and finger-picking guitar style,” formed the soundtrack of his childhood.

After recently taking time to cycle round the coast of Ireland in aid of the RNLI, Shane’s next ambition was to get his music on record. The result of this new project is No More Clones, a collection of well crafted new songs written about true love and a love for the planet that have picked up airplay from local stations and 2FM’s Dave Fanning.

A highlight of the LP is ‘Video Dreams’ a poignant song dedicated to, “a friend who became homeless in London and was stolen from the world far too prematurely.”
Shane O’Neill’s ‘No More Clones’ is available on iTunes and Apple Music and on all the usual digital platforms from this Friday March 12.
