IT will be a repeat of last year’s final when Limerick and Waterford meet in the All-Ireland semi-final this Saturday.

Limerick will be seeking a fifth successive win over the Deise since John Kiely’s arrival in 2017. Prior to his appointment, Limerick had gone eleven years without a win over Waterford, that win coming in the 2007 All-Ireland semi-final, their last meeting at this stage.

Waterford’s previous win over Limerick came in 2011, a 3-15 to 3-14 win in the Munster semi-final in Thurles.

John Kiely’s side are the reigning All-Ireland champions and are looking for successive final berths for the first time since 1974.

The Shannonsiders are heavy favourites among the bookies to advance to the final with each of Paddy Power, Boylesports, Ladbrokes, Bet 365, Betway and William Hill tipping Limerick.

The other semi-final between Cork and Kilkenny is priced much more closely with each of the aforementioned bookmakers having both sides at evens.

Paddy Power, Boylesports and Ladbrokes have a draw priced at 9/1 while it’s 17/2 with Bet365.
