A ROADSIDE plaque at Fedamore Cross, County Limerick to commemorate a young man who lost his life in a traffic accident at the location was vandalised last week.
Gardaà at Ballyneety and Roxboro Road are investigating the incident, which has caused great hurt to the family of Jason Nash, who was killed in the 2006 accident.

- External Walls: Up to €8,000 Grant
- Attic: Up to €1,500 Grant
- Cavity Walls: Up to €1,700 Grant
- Internal Dry Lining: Up to €4,500 Grant
Last Friday, October 8, witnesses reported to gardaà that a group of men were seen at the plaque at around 9.30pm. The plaque was torn from the wall and dumped about 50 yards up the road.
Gardaà are appealing for any more witnesses or motorists with dash cameras who were in the Fedamore Cross area at the time or anybody who may know anything about the incident to contact them on 061 214340 or the Garda confidential line 1800 666111.
